Full Moon in Leo: Claim Your Spotlight

You must promise me, that when you step into the light, you will be worthy of the attention you command. — Lady Danbury to young Simon (future Duke of Hastings) on Bridgerton, Season 1 Ep. 2

This scene from Bridgerton is so on point for today's Full Moon in Leo, Reader.

Leo is about visibility and what it requires: Being bold, courageous, and confident. Owning your worth. Commanding the attention you deserve.

Leo is also the sign of royalty.

And Lady Danbury is a total Queen (even if she's not the Queen).

At the start of this scene, Lady Danbury recounts to young Simon that when she was a young girl, she was so frightened that she wanted to dissolve into the shadows. She tells him that she overcame her fear of visibility by creating a persona — she "sharpened my wit and my wardrobe" to become the "most terrifying creature."

So very on point for Leo, the sign of the performer, performance, and drama.

Although this scene is meant to inform us of Simon's backstory, it also speaks to a universal truth:

Everyone has a fear of visibility, even if we manifest it differently.

But there comes a time when we need to cast that fear aside, step into the light, and command the attention we deserve.

We must step into the light.

This is the invitation — or the demand — of this Full Moon.

Full Moon Vibes

Today's Full Moon in Leo invites you to summon your courage, command the spotlight, and disrupt your status quo.

At the Full Moon, the Moon and Sun are in opposing signs. The Moon in Leo is opposite the Sun in Aquarius.

A Full Moon in Leo already promises high drama: full moons are a culmination — the peak of the cycle. Everything is heightened. And Leo is the sign of drama. But this one promises to be extra.

Both luminaries are sitting in a square — an aspect of friction — to Uranus, which is in Taurus. Uranus is the planet of disruption, rebellion, and revolution.

It's worth noting that Leo, Aquarius, and Taurus are all fixed signs. These are not exactly the parts of us that welcome change with open arms.

But it's important to remember that Uranus brings disruption for the purpose of liberation. In fact, sometimes we need to be the disruptors of our status quo to break free of the boxes and limitations that are confining us and holding us back.

It's Time to Step Into Your Light

Whether life disrupts you, or you disrupt yourself, one thing is certain: change is happening.

You cannot hide from it.

This is no time for doing things in the same old way.

It's time for us to summon our inner Lady Danbury, Reader.

And, yes -- I'm speaking to myself too.

This is a moment that demands boldness in authentic expression. It demands you be visible: that you be seen and heard, that you command the attention you deserve.
